FRES Students Experience Colonial Times
Students at FRES enjoyed a week filled with celebrations October 19-23. On Monday they did colonial crafts and enjoyed a visit from Paul Revere. Tuesday, students attended a Ben Franklin assembly about the magic of reading and were also invited to attend a literacy/music event about colonial America. Betsy Ross Flag Day was celebrated on Wednesday. Thursday's celebration was about colonial songs and instruments and was a colonial dress up day for staff and students. The celebration week ended on Friday with a trip to the Frontier Culture Museum for grades 1-4.
