Red Ribbon Week at River Bend Elementary School

During the last week in October, RBES celebrated Red Ribbon Week, a week that promotes living a healthy and drug-free lifestyle. Our theme for one of the days was "Heroes are Drug Free." Athletes from ERHS came to talk and visit with RBES students during their lunch periods. It was an inspiration for both the younger and older students. After interacting with the elementary students, ERHS students reported to their coach that they now really "feel like a hero." RBES students were also very excited and look forward to becoming involved in healthy activities.
