Installing FirstClass® at Home

Download the FirstClass® client, configure it, and you'll have the same features and look from home as you have from school.

Directions:

THE FIRST TIME ONLY:

1. On the Web, go to the FirstClass® Client Download Page. Click on the link named FirstClass Client Download on the left hand side of the page.

2. Click to download the latest FirstClass® client for either Mac OS or Windows, depending on what computer you have.

3. An installer is downloaded; click to run the installer so the client program is installed on your computer.

4. Once it has installed, click on the FirstClass® icon.

5. Click on the Advanced button (labeled A in the graphic below) then click on the Setup button (labeled B in the graphic).  

 

6. Inside the Server field type the server name as shown below (labeled C):


7. Now click the Save button and it will take you back a screen.

8. Back on the Login screen, enter your user name and password, then click on the Login button. In a moment you will be signed in to the RCPS mail server.

FOR SUBSEQUENT SESSIONS:

Just sign on to your Internet service then double-click to launch FirstClass®. Login with your name and password.
